I built a 120lb robot from scratch in 6 weeks with my teammates to compete in the international First Robotics Competition: Power Up. The robot was capable of sorting milk crate sized boxes and shooting them seven feet in the air, as well as doing a pull up from 6 feet off the ground.
I have worked at the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Lab at Columbia University for the past two years to find new treatment for Osteoarthritis (the irreversible breakdown of cartilage between joints over time). At the lab, I add functionality to a commercially available Finite Element Solver that the lab has developed called FEBio. This includes expanding the input geometries as well as improving mesh refining algorithms. It will allow researchers to build more precise models to more accurately mimic the human body, improving Osteoarthritic research tremendously.

Circa is an iOS App that I released as the first app for my start-up Hedron LLC. It is a location based alarm clock aimed to help sleep-deprived students power-nap on public transit without missing their stop. Circa (Latin for “near”) allows you to easily set alarms when you are a given distance away from your destination.
Handrating is an iOS app tailored to help elementary schools grade students’ handwriting. This is instrumental in helping young students improve their handwriting in an era of technology depleting handwriting quality. Simply take a photo of written text and Handrating will grade it through Optical Character Recognition and the Levenshtein Distance Algorithm.
GEOPHY is an online GIF converter that can take in a word/image in any language and using sentiment analysis output a corresponding GIF using GIPHY and Google Cloud Platform API. Currently, GIPHY only supports english so people in other countries do not have access to its service. This tool aims to bridge this gap in a fun way!
I have volunteered at the OM Foundation School in Delhi, India during my breaks from school for the past five years. I teach computer science and mathematics, as well some card tricks to reinforce ideas such as algorithms and permutations. In addition, I sourced 7 laptops to be given to the school for their new Robotics Lab.
